Saanvi Deb
President
Saanvi is deeply interested in Chemistry. She took AP Chemistry as a sophomore (AP Score '5') and most recently emerged in the top 10% of Silicon Valley students who took the 2024 Chemistry Olympiad. Saanvi has taken undergrad level Chemistry classes at Stanford University where she has scored 'As. Her time at Stanford has given her extensive experience in a lab setting and has given her skills in chemistry far beyond the classroom. She is a Founder/President of the Leland Chemistry Club and looks forward to establishing Leland as a school with accomplished Chemistry Olympians.
Daphne
Co-Founder/Experiments Head
Daphne is a dedicated and insightful member of the Leland High School Chemistry Club, currently serving as the Co-founder/Experiment Head. With a strong academic background in STEM, particularly in Chemistry and Biology, she brings a solid foundation in scientific principles to the club. Her involvement extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by her participation in advanced courses and research programs at UPenn and Brown University, focusing on chemical experimentation and environmental toxicology. In the Chemistry Club, she skillfully combines her knowledge and enthusiasm to create engaging experiments and educational content, aiming to inspire and support her peers in their scientific endeavors.

“Hi everyone! I’m Aditi, vice president of the chem club. I’ve always loved chemistry and thought it was incredibly fascinating which led to taking AP Chem my sophomore year. I didn’t want chemistry to end after it, so I’m very glad to continue my passion for chemistry and be a part of leading this club and help others to love chemistry ❤️🧪”
